Max Payne 2 has MAX-FX 2.0 engine for Microsoft Windows and RenderWare for Xbox and PlayStation 2. Here when the game starts, you will have only 9mm pistol and later you can access handguns, shotguns, submachine guns, assault rifles, sniper rifles, hand grenades and Molotov cocktail. It has much better bullet time features and slow mode features than earlier version of Max Payne and it also allows you to aim in real time. After some stage Max Payne learns that, the Cleaners works for Vladimir Lem and this group used to eliminate all the competitors of his business and Mona is a hired killer for Senator Alfred Woden (who had ensured that all charges against Max Payne were dropped at the end of the first sequel.) with orders to kill both Vladimir Lem and Max Payne. And that point, the story turns into another climax and it continues till end. Detective Valerie Winterson is another important character of this game.
